he pujat la muntanya
relliscant sovint,
relliscant de vegades a l'herba,
de vegades a la pedra.
Quan he començat
no clarejava encara,
roca i herba,
neu llunyana
voleiaven entorn meu
com fulles de paper deixades anar al vent;
però ara
ha sortit el sol, ha sortit el sol
que ho envolta tot amb un embolcall groguenc.

At last.
I have climbed the mountain,
Slipping often,
Slipping sometimes on grass,
Sometimes on stone.
When I started,
It was not yet dawning,
Rocks and grass,
Distant snow,
Fluttered about me,
Like leaves of paper loose in the wind;
But now,
The sun has risen, the sun has risen,
And bound up all in a binding of yellow.
